This ring requires finishing. Cabochon mountings feature a flat, sometimes open, base and raised edges with two to four prongs that hold a cameo or cabochon securely in place. Set your cabochon into the mounting, then burnish the prongs over the stone to secure it in place. To set a faceted stone, cut a seat in the prongs to accommodate your stone, then burnish the prongs over the stone to secure it in place.

Setting type : 4-prong
Fabrication method : Cast
Country of origin : United States
Band/shank width : 1.8mm
Ring size (U.S.) : 7
Mounting/bezel size(s) : 8 x 6mm
Stone(s) shape : Oval
Metal color : White
Karat/purity : 925
Metal type : Sterling silver
Jewelry Type : Rings
Style : Prong mounting

Please Note:
• After setting your stone(s) in this mounting, finish or polish as necessary to complete your ring.

David is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America.
