Dark corridors are common in older Australian homes, and a pale floor covering does more to lift one than paint on the walls. The Alhambra Border Jute Runner Wheat 80x300cm is the lighter colourway, in natural and cream jute handwoven by skilled makers in India. Jute has an open weave that softens footsteps on hard flooring, and its earthy texture brings warmth to a space with no furniture in it. Three metres covers most hallway lengths in one piece. Natural tonal variation runs through the fibre. Other colours and sizes are available.
