Bloomery Olive Branch Stem 85cm

An olive branch carries a lot of association for very little visual weight, which is part of why it works so well in a simple vessel. The Bloomery Olive Branch Stem 85cm includes olive fruit along the branch, a detail that makes the difference between generic greenery and something identifiable. At 85cm it suits a tall vase or a jug on a kitchen bench, and the narrow silver green leaves keep it light rather than dense. Three or four in a plain ceramic vessel is often all a kitchen or dining table needs. With nothing to water or refresh. Artificial rather than fresh, with lifelike colouring and natural variation through the form.
