The cross back detail is what gives the Provincial Cross Back Dining Stool Natural Oak its character, an open shape that keeps sightlines clear so a row of stools never makes a kitchen feel crowded. Oak brings warmth and visible grain to the frame, while the woven rattan seat top adds a softer, more textural layer where you actually sit. Because the back is timber rather than upholstered, it's a practical choice for households where breakfast, homework and afternoon snacks all happen at the same counter. Natural tones sit comfortably alongside French provincial, country and coastal interiors, and pair easily with painted cabinetry or a timber benchtop.
